Coughs and Sneezes

We would like to remind people that in this season of coughs and sneezes we are currently at greater risk of colds and flu than we are of the coronavirus, however the advice is similar.

Remember to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze.

Put used tissues in the bin immediatly.

Wash your hands with soap and water often - use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. There will be some on the check-in desk by register.

Avoid close contact with people who are unwell. This is especially important for the choirs as some people attending may be having chemotherapy and are more vulnerable.

Don't touch you eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

if you have been on holiday to an area that has been affected by the coronavirus then please do not come to choir for at least two weeks and follow the advice given here.

If there is a coronavirus outbreak in the Uk we will follow the public health and NHS advice.

Symptoms of coronavirus are:

  • Cough
  • High temperature
  • Shortness of breath

These symptoms do not necessarily mean you have the illness as the symptoms are similar to other illnesses that are much more common, such as flu and a cold.

If you think you might be infected DO NOT GO TO A GP SURGERY, PHARMACY OR HOSPITAL. CALL 111, STAY INDOORS AND AVOID CONTACT WITH OTHER PEOPLE.
